WINGSUIT VR – VITRUVIAN GAME

Flight simulator of a wingsuit through virtual reality and an electronically controlled mechanism that reminds Vitruvian man of Leonardo Da Vinci. The person inside controls the flight with joystick and wears a backpack that wirelessly (thanks to the battery) allows to create virtual reality with viewers.
You can fly anywhere for a unique experience.
The engines, in full security, allow the person to move like a gyroscope.

Virtual Reality

We used the backpack with Vive. We’ve created a VR application in Unity that simulates flying over a city.

Iron construction Made in Italy

We have designed a tailor made Iron Construction that represents the Vitruvian man. A ring inside a second ring. Inside you can climb a person, the building is 2.5 meters high.

Automation

With 2 engines we’ve automated the 2 rings independently. This was for us the most expensive investment. Here are the technical features. We chosed B&R technology: highly performance and manageable through PLC. LINK Motor file – the technical specification of the motor

Open Source Electronics

With 2 handles, the person inside the circle will be able to command the engines and then simulate the flight in complete autonomy. This part was built with Arduino and with TINYTILE cards. The cards are connected directly to the PLCs of the motors.

This is an important part of Intel technology that allows us to automate everything.
